Abstract

This text addresses through a sociological approach, migratory flows composed of undocumented Central Americans from the Northern Triangle: Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador, who transit through México. The second section of this article is for contextualizing the sociopolitical situation in the countries of origin and the implementation of programs in Mexico that have historically impeded the passage of Central American migrants. Subsequently, a description is made based on the testimonies of the migrants from the first 64km that cross from the southern border to the first shelter on the migratory route: La 72 Hogar-Refugio para Personas Migrantes, where through a series of workshops of engraving on polymers inside a safe space, the reconstruction of memory through images is discussed.
