Abstract

Through a division for stages of development, this article makes an approximation to minor female Romanian gypsies settled in the shantytown of El Gallinero in Madrid, Spain; demonstrating, through their profile and the social projects in which they participate, those aspects that make them socially vulnerable. In the frame of a diverse reality, where complex intra-familiar dynamics are taking place, it is necessary a specific social intervention that agglutinates and coordinates both the social entities and the local and regional administrations. The text talks about the transnational mobility of families and how it directly affects the full development of the interventions that Public Administrations and Social Entities carry out; as well as the female minors, due to their double condition of exclusion, as women and minors.
