Abstract

This paper analyzes, from a socio-anthropological perspective, a central dimension of the school paths of Bolivian women who live in the Argentinian city of Ushuaia, in Tierra del Fuego: the concrete and symbolic conditions of their migratory processes. Specifically, it is a detailed description of the relationship between three identified aspects of six in-depth interviews in which we attend to the senses constructed related to the existence conditions, the migratory processes and the experiences lived in Ushuaia. This analysis helps us to conclude that the processes undergone by the women of the research, in which migrant inequalities intersect, constitute a peculiar structure where their school paths are developed.
