Abstract

The hope of a better quality of life, better working conditions or the simple desire for adventure has led human beings to walk across borders, in disadvantageous situations, physical and emotional risks. Added to traditional migration is that of women and minors. This article deals with migrant minors from the North Central American triangle passing through Tabasco, Mexico, who face situations of vulnerability and human rights violations, who have lived and are fleeing the context of social and criminal violence in their countries of origin and who, despite this, retain dreams and aspirations to be better people and have a happy life, that is, they maintain the illusion. This situation is analyzed within the framework of dual realities faced by these migrants, to establish how the conditions of the migration process contribute to learning and better decision-making.
